| Silicon Carbide guides contain a super hard, diamond polished, silicon carbide inner ring mounted directly on a stainless steel frame. It does not contain a shock ring, which makes it lighter, providing increased heat dissipation and increased line sensitivity. These guides are used in high quality rods since they are twice as hard a aluminum oxide. |
